At all stages of development, children need to hear encouraging words to strengthen their self esteem, self respect and self image. Kind and respectful statements of encouragement will help a child soar in many areas of their lives. A note of encouragement in a backpack pocket or lunch bag can help turn the tide of a bad day! As an aside…this works for adults too!
