MINES Critical Incident Support Services (CISS) are on-site interventions designed to provide solution-focused, compassionate support to your employees in the event that they are involved in, witness to, or otherwise affected by a stressful or traumatic event in the workplace.
A licensed mental health professional with expertise in trauma treatment will provide in-person support, tools for coping, and education about what to expect in the aftermath of a critical incident. Such events may include layoffs, employee death, robbery, natural disaster, or threat to employee safety. Group-based CISS are designed to reduce post-traumatic stress and to assist workers in returning to an optimal level of function in the workplace. A mental health professional may also be available to meet with employees on an individual basis, right on location, to discuss and encourage the use of your organization’s EAP for further support.
CISS can be tailored to meet your organization’s needs. Contact your MINES Account Manager for details and pricing.
*Services available depend upon Company’s program.
